German citizenship through Einbürgerung
An Iranian national can apply for German Einbürgerung if the legal requirements are met; residence alone is insufficient. The standard entitlement requires five years of lawful habitual residence plus further conditions. In Berlin, start with the LEA Quick-Check.

The standard route also requires clarified identity and nationality, a qualifying residence status, the required declarations, livelihood conditions and language and civic knowledge. German at B1 is the usual language standard, with statutory exceptions. A student residence permit alone is not a qualifying title for this route.
For Berlin residents the LEA handles the online application. Check the evidence for your own circumstances, including proof of your Iranian identity and nationality; do not treat a German travel document as automatically sufficient identity proof. Save the application confirmation. Applying does not itself change your residence status.
