Activating a German SIM-Karte
An Iranian national buying a German prepaid SIM-Karte must complete identity verification before activation. Ask which verification route accepts your Iranian passport or residence document before paying, and read the contract summary for charges and cancellation terms.

Section 172 TKG requires providers to collect subscriber data and verify specified prepaid customer details before activation. Its document categories include recognised foreign identity or travel documents, residence titles and specified asylum-related documents. This does not mean every remote verification service supports every document.
Ask the provider which supported method fits the document you actually have and use accurate subscriber details. Under § 54 TKG the contract summary sets out key services, activation and ongoing charges, duration and cancellation conditions. Check those terms before committing rather than assuming all SIM products have the same conditions.
