Iranian residents registering a vehicle in Germany should use the route for a new, used or imported vehicle. In Berlin, prepare identity evidence, eVB insurance and tax arrangements; online registration additionally needs suitable digital identity and vehicle documents.

A first registration is for a vehicle never registered anywhere. A used vehicle normally needs the appropriate transfer or re-registration service, while an import has its own requirements. Read the exact official checklist rather than using a new-car list for a car brought from Iran. Berlin's local identity route includes a passport with registration evidence.
The official lists include liability-insurance confirmation through eVB, the tax direct-debit mandate and relevant registration and technical documents. For used vehicles a valid Hauptuntersuchung is required. Online access can use an electronic residence title with activated eID, but the vehicle papers also need the necessary security features. Follow the issued registration instructions before road use; merely submitting an application is not permission to drive.
