Gehalt: understand your payslip
Iranian employees in Germany should compare the agreed salary, payslip and actual payment. Gross pay differs from the amount paid after deductions. Ask payroll to explain the pay period, additions and deductions and correct discrepancies promptly.

The wage statement must identify the pay period and how pay is composed, including relevant supplements, allowances, deductions, advances and instalments. A new statement is not required when the information has not changed since the last proper statement. Keep the statements so you can trace a disputed payment.
Wage tax is normally withheld by the employer for the employee under the applicable tax rules. That deduction does not mean the contract salary has changed. The statutory default is payment after the work or agreed time period; also check the actual contractual or collective payment arrangements. Query missing or unexplained amounts with payroll rather than comparing only the bank balance.
